BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION Cancel Santa Ana Date
June 28, 2003BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION — the new band featuring MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx, L.A. GUNS guitarist Tracii Guns, vocalist London LeGrand, and drummer Scot Coogan (ex-PAUL GILBERT, ONI LOGAN/ROWAN ROBERTSON, SINÉAD O'CONNOR) — have cancelled their previously announced July 26 gig at The Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana, California.
"The Galaxy show was supposed to be mainly an N.Sixx [Nikki's recently launched clothing line] promotional party, and we were kinda just supposed to show up and play a few tunes," Guns said in an online posting. "As it turns out, the party may well still be happening but there was somethin' weird about the gig or somethin for us so, we aren't gonna play there. I don't know if that's enough of a reason for ya, but that's the only reason I know of."
BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION are due to enter the studio in July with producer Steve Thompson (KORN, METALLICA, GUNS N' ROSES) to record their debut album, tentatively due before the end of the year through an as-yet-undisclosed label.
